Terms of Service

1. WHO THESE TERMS ARE WITH

These terms are an agreement between you and the company that operates Vulnara. That entity, its registered address and its registration details are published on our imprint page. Until they are, use the contact address under Contact points at the end of these terms to reach us.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By accessing or using our website and services you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the website or the service. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version in force.

3. WHAT THESE TERMS COVER

These terms cover this website and the Vulnara platform account you can create from it. Where we have signed a separate written agreement with you, that agreement takes precedence over these terms for everything it covers.

4. YOUR ACCOUNT

Some features need an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you register, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for what is done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your authorisation.

5. PLANS, USAGE AND BILLING

Vulnara is offered with a free tier and a metered premium tier. The free tier includes 1,000 minutes of repository scanning and 500 minutes of network scanning, as listed on our pricing page. Beyond that, scanning is charged at EUR 0.01 per minute of repository scanning and EUR 0.01 per minute of network scanning, on actual use. Prices are quoted in euro. The remaining commercial terms are not settled yet, and we will not charge you under a term that is not published here.

6. SERVICE LEVELS AND AVAILABILITY

We do not currently commit to a service level. The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis, we may take it down for maintenance, and scan results depend on third-party tools and on systems outside our control. If we adopt an availability target, support response times or a service credit, they will be published here and will form part of these terms. Until then, do not rely on an availability figure quoted anywhere else.

7. PERMITTED USE, AND AUTHORISATION TO SCAN

You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. Vulnara scans systems and code for security weaknesses, so one point matters more here than on an ordinary service: you may only run a scan against a system, network or repository that you own or that you are explicitly authorised in writing to test. Running one without that authorisation may be a criminal offence where you or the target are located, and obtaining and keeping that authorisation is your responsibility, not ours.

8. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the service for any unlawful or harmful activity, including infringing intellectual property rights, transmitting malicious software, or fraud. You may not interfere with the operation of the service, attempt to circumvent its limits or access controls, resell it without our agreement, or use it to attack a third party.

9. CONTENT AND OWNERSHIP

The platform itself, including its text, images and software, is owned by us or licensed to us, and you may not copy, modify or distribute it without our permission. You keep ownership of the code, configuration and scan targets you submit. You grant us only the licence we need in order to run the service for you.

10. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms have been breached, where a scan is being run without authorisation, or where we discontinue the service. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.

11. NO WARRANTY

The service is provided as is. A scan does not prove that a system is secure: it reports what the configured tools found at the time they ran. We do not warrant that it identifies every weakness, that it is free of false positives, or that it is uninterrupted or error free.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current version. Where a change materially affects a paid subscription we will give notice before it takes effect.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. The competent courts of Sofia, Bulgaria have jurisdiction over such a dispute. Disputes go to those courts; we do not require you to arbitrate. If you are a consumer, none of this deprives you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
